Green Genius

Green Genius is part of the Lithuanian-headquartered Modus Group, an experienced renewable energy developer operating in eight European countries, with accumulated capacity of c. 200MW and a further c. 1GW of solar PV at the late development stage.

SEQI provided a PLN 175 million (approx. £33 million) senior secured construction facility, with an annual coupon of c. 12%, to Green Genius to build out a portfolio of 66MW solar photovoltaic electricity generation plants in Poland. This loan was negotiated on a bilateral basis with a robust equity commitment from the sponsor.
